You look great in these pants! I hate pants on me….*sigh*- never can find the right fit! Tried these and Gap ones and neither worked :(

One of the simplest clothing to match is the casual trousers. Almost every shirt go very well with your trouser, no matter what color your shirt is. You also pair it with long sleeves to make it suitable for semi-formal gatherings. Another good thing about mens casual trousers is that you can simply wear it in office. A lot of men love wearing mens casual trousers because of comfort and style that it provides wearers.
White work pants have double knee. These will be made of thicker material, so you won’t have to worry about your underwear showing. They not be as cool as some of the other white pants available for the summer. Usually, they be made of mix of polyester, cotton and twill, which makes for one strong pant.
She sure can pull this whole outfit off. I wear pj pants at home only – I would look and feel silly leaving the house in them.
We did the same darn thing in college…well, some of us were doing it in high school too, but college days were all about style on the cusp. XO It is a lovely photo, she is gorgeous.
had no idea you went to u of m, too! how cool (:

I have pink plaid PJ pants and I just love, love, love them. I am in a half mind to buy more so that I can wear them out in public.
That’s cute! I have a pair like that but dark-blue with white snowflake patterns all over ^_^
I wish I could look like her when I wear my pajama pants.
Yup, Yup. We did the same darn thing in college…well, some of us were doing it in high school too, but college days were all about style on the cusp. XO It is a lovely photo, she is gorgeous.
When I was in college, I saw someone come to class with floral Victoria Secret PJ’s (I had the same ones. I just wasn’t wearing them to class). She had them belted with a cognac colored braided leather belt and same colored Cole Haan loafers.
ahhhh. pajama pants. a staple in my college days. i dont think i ever looked like this gal.
Ahhh college days were great. We did the pajama pants thing too. But her’s are tres chic! I need a pair…
My friend and I used to wear satin chinese pajama bottoms in high school, with chinese slippers. We were so cool. Ha!
oh, i was just in ann arbor last night!
didn’t see anyone in pj pants, though :-P
I would love to be able to pull this off. I just know I would look like a hot sloppy mess.
Right before I left for Paris I saw a bunch of girls in a mall in New Jersey who demonstrated exactly how NOT to wear pajama pants in public.
I wish I had a few shots for you. It was awful!
Go Blue! I’m finishing my bachelors at UM. Don’t let that fool you, though..I’m 51. :-)
I missed the whole wearing-pajamas-in-public-phase. haha. I sure wish I had a DVF wrap dress from the 70s, though.
Love your blog!!
I never wore pjs to class ….I feel I missed out …I did go in a ball gown tho …and also may have walked around campus dressed like an Indian ….
I loved this too:)!
Why is it that all those cool clothes never make me look as good as they do when they’re worn by beautiful model-like people?
Hmmm…
I’ve never seen them look so stylish!
we wore those plaid things at BU too…ugh. this woman is impossibly cool and refined. I miss Paris:)
I’m not sure if anyone’s mentioned this yet, but did you see Jessica Alba in the full on pajama Hefner in heels look???

I love the way she wears her scarf. Parisian women have always intrigued me with their advanced scarf tying-placing-wrapping!
no, bad, horrible, horrible, horrible.
DO NOT ATTEMPT THIS
so frenchy beautiful.
I love the look, but for me to pull this off, I would need a more fitting blazer or cardigan. I am short and wearing the loose blazer would make me look like I was wearing a dark bedsheet. LOL.
Time and a place. Yeah, I can’t go back there.
she pulled off that look perfectly! love it.
nice! i like this version:
So funny! I went to high school at a private all girls school. We wore plaid skirts. We would wear flannel PJ pants under our skirts November through May almost because the school was so freaking cold! They never kept the building heated properly. It almost became fashionable. Sometimes we’d even wear our PJ pants out in public. It was a very strange fashion statement.
your blog is awesome…I get alot of my style tips from you. I have nominated you as one of my favorite blogs. You can check it out on my page.
OOh that does look good. I love the old “try to get your pyjamas to look like daywear” game :-)
giulia, you can have all the privileges you want!
Non, non, non. I am using my “old lady” privileges (late 40s)here knowing full well that I’ve just made up the fact that there is anything like “old lady” privileges. Please allow me my delusions:)
A friend & I were just, I mean just two hours ago, on this lovely warmish DC day, running some errands & had lunch. We saw something quite similar (on a cute girl). My friend (yes, French, & way cool, & fashion forward & a way successful makeup artiste & non-judgmental, mostly) said, “BUT WHAT EES THEES? I HAFF SEEN ZEES TWICE TODAY” (well, not that loud, no one else heard us.)
Sorry ladies, what looks cute, chic in a pix often looks like hell in person. So this is a darling jeune fille, but…non. non. non.
And with that bit of crankiness, please don’t be mad at me. I’m sure you all look adorable in your pjs–inside.
All I can think is, “Would Audrey do this? NO!” :)
Is it warm today where you are? I have the windows open! I know it’s a tease, but I’ll take it.
ciao-meow! Have a great evening, xo, Susan
Wait, You mean pajamas as in night wear??? I didn’t know it’s spelled that way and wouldn’t guess in the post context.
So cute- this actually serves to remind me of the extent to which I’m slacking when it comes to lounge wear. I’m sure the midnight grocery store workers would appreciate an upgrade from my uggs and sweats.
Had the title not noted it, I would have never guessed. Fabulous!
trust those Paris girls to make pjs chic
You went to U of M? ME TOO!
I have to say, I don’t get this trend – I don’t get wearing pajamas in public. I sort of feel like, “If I have to get dressed to go out, so does everyone else.” Even just basic jeans and tee isn’t too difficult to pull together.
ha! funny that you mention this–the chic pajama-wearing parisian vs. the less cooler american in pj’s. you might smile when you read my very short post today:)
Mm pajama pants are so comfy. I usually reserve my plaid ones for the house though, although I did once have to run over to a friend’s house wearing them. Tucked into boots. ooh yeah.
This, of course, is the much cooler version.
I was *just* talking about how in high school we used to wear vintage men’s satin pajamas dyed black or burgundy.
Tops and bottoms were both cool, but not recommended to wear at the same time ;)
we did the very same thing in college, although admittedly none of mine were this chic. :)
xo

When were PJs in public considered fashionable? Must have missed that era, lol!
You’re bringing back bad flashbacks of when I used to wear oversized plaid pajama pants all over campus (um, and to the gym, and the grocery store). These are much more stylish.
Now that’s the way to go!
Ha! I also wore my pjs in public in college. My mother ridicules me to this day about that.
i was all about wearing pajamas as my uniform in college. i still do during the weekends, but i try to avoid pinks and plaids now.
She is darling…
I’ve worn pajama pants in public in Germany before. Taboo. People think you’re psycho and I’ve even had professors tell me how awful it is to do so.
So chic with the little white ribbon and cuff!
Wow, surprisingly cool!
I am all for wearing those around, cute.
