ohhh the light, the natural pick me upper. I could sit for hours in a room like that with a many magazines and books and thoughts.
I love the space’s lived-in quality. It’s not too polished or perfect. You could imagine the family who owns it feel quite comfortable there.

You have uncovered a little-known fact: babies make excellent home decor. We should all get some for our couches :)
However, because a baby is a bit high-maintenance, I think I shall take this room and replace the baby with a cat. Perfect.

Ha! I didn’t even notice the toddler when I saw this on Design*Sponge. I guess I just picked up the color of his shirt, and thought he was a throw or small pillow…I’m sure my kids would be climbing on that ledge, so they’d be totally visible :)
