One of my favorite cities is Amsterdam, where bikes are used by people dressed up, and for families, dogs, groceries. They can tow or push anything! LOL
The streets are designed for bikes, where our concern here lies with making it convienientfor the car. It’s too bad.
When a Dutch man shows up on his bike to pick you up for a date, there is no negative conotation…here it may mean…”he doens’t have a car?”

Especially since there are zero bike lanes in Columbus. There are so many places I go within biking distance, but zero lanes in which to get there- and I’m NOT negotiating Columbus streets without a bike lane. No way, Jose.
