My dears, I just wanted to say that I am having a very rough day.
Bad days are the worst.
P.S. This photo makes me feel a little better.

i am so sorry that you are had a rough day. a little ‘clap your hands say yeah’ always helps to put a little (or sometimes rather large and goofy) smile on my face. i hope that your friday is so much better… as well as your weekend.
hope you feel better today. Look at the bright side…it’s friday! :) have a nice weekend!
Hey, me too! How about that.
I just called my (working in a different state this week) boyfriend and he said “Just be kind to you”.
I think that’s pretty good advice, so:
Be kind to you.
(I’m planning some nice biscuits, calming music, chinese takeaway and drawing-for-no-reason.)
Knock knock.
Who’s there?
Orange.
Orange who?
Orange you glad yesterday is over.
Hang in there.
Thanks for all the beauty you put into our lives; it is remarkable, much appreciated, a great gift.
Best wishes for a sunnier tomorrow.
Hope you feel better soon! Sending good vibes your way …
Lori

despite having a bad day, you still manage to find the most beautiful pictures to illustrate your mood.
hope it gets better!
I hope your day ended on a better note, and here’s hoping tomorrow is even brighter!
…soak in a long bubble bath with a good lavender or lemongrass essential oil…always helps me, transport me to a Pataya spa resort somehow… made a little something for you guys… my ‘Barbie FINALE’ is posted…yay!

Tomorrow is a new day! Thank you for your lovely blog, it always brightens my day. Hope tomorrow is much better (it is Friday, after all!)
oh no! I hope your day got better. I’m having a shitty week and I think the only things that are keeping me sane are my favorite blogs and lots and lots of Iron & Wine on repeat.
It’s amazing to still post on your blog.
When things get difficult i try to imagine that i have an enormous transparent ball around me that protect me from others fears and stress.
Sucky days are the worse. Maybe it was something in the air today but I was feel blah-ish too today. Either way, know we’re here with you every day through ups and downs :)
And tomorrow’s almost here and everyone knows Fridays are always ten times better than Thursdays!
oh no!!! Hope you have a better day tomorrow!!! :)
here’s a virtual hug from all across the continents !
I’m sorry you had a bad day. They are the worst.
Pretty pictures always work. So do long baths and scented candles. Kisses on the mouth and flowers just cause. And champagne. The best things on bad days…
sending good wishes your way
They really are the worst. I hope things get better soon!

So sorry to hear it! Tomorrow will be better!
Best wishes (and some delightful distraction).
Darnit all if those bad days don’t have to come along a screw things up! Oh Miss Jo…you can clearly see we’re feelin’ for you. Wishing you sunshine soon :)

PS: Your blog is fab!
Play ‘Love Song,’ by Sara Bareillis really loud and sing all goofy (no matter how cliche, it really worked for me yesterday when I was busy and incredibly discouraged and stressed out!)
xo, Jessie–
P.S. I’ve learned so much from you by just reading your blog–about language; about writing; about networking. (The list goes on.) You have definitely made the world of magazine journalism seem a little less intimidating for me. So if I ever break into the industry, I–undeniable–have you to thank. :)
oh, me too. had a mental break this morning and dad’s coming up to rescue me from the kids. hope you have someone to rescue you!
Oh no… I’ve had a bad day as well. But I looked up the sky and saw this beautiful sunset – it made me a bit calm and better!!
I pray that you’ll have a better and a happy day!!!! :D
Iiiiiiii…. hear you. And that picture makes me feel a little better too.
Chin up for both of us, right? {small smile}
Joanna, I hope all these good thoughts and lots of love are making you feel a little better. I’m sending hugs and Yeehaws from Texas! xx
Aww, it’s been a tense and sucky couple of weeks in my world, as well. Hot baths and tea help. Also gin & tonics. And ranty, weepy conversations with your very best and most snarky/soothing people. Take care! It will get better!!!
Picture is gorgeous. Most of us are gorgeous, too. Cheer up, sweet blogger!
Bad days suck. But they pass .
Sorry you are having a rough day. Maybe you should take break, watch tv and have a snack – that works for me! You’re blog is excellent.
So sorry love- godspeed bliss
bad days are the worst. here’s hoping it takes a turn for the better soon.
tomorrow is another day.
Hope tomorrow is better!
I love Ruby’s bit about the future. I’m in the future too.
Maybe a drink with an umbrella in it might help.
my remedy for a bad day is a cheer-up movie, a bath and a favorite book before bedtime. feel better and know that tomorrow will be an improvement! xxx
Feel happier soon! I hate a case of the “mean reds.”
Hope you have a happier tomorrow. xoxo
Oh dear. I’m on the West coast, 3 hours behind you. At least you’re almost done!
Wishing you a bright manana…
Feel better soon!
Oh lovely, I am having the roughest week of my life! My thoughts are with you. Just try and find the beauty in the little things, that always cheers me up.
Love. xoxo
