so true. so true.
I love their soft glow and it always reminds me of the holidays. In ou house, m mom kept them on from Diwali to new years. It felt so festive! I use them to create a soft glow in hall leading to and in the guest bathroom when we have a party.
we lined the roof of our cottage and our white picket fence with them – it looks lovely and is an inexpensive way to get outdoor lighting
Awesome!! I also decorated my home on Christmas and I got all lighting accessories from Christmas Lights Etc.
magical indeed.
perfect bedroom lighting!
very magical!
Oh how darling. I am still working on my lighting in my place. This is coming after my new bookcase!
oh this is so pretty and cosy!
I do! They always make me smile.
I know what you mean, I was thinking of putting some up in my room…but i had to ask myself “am I getting too old for posters and fairy lights?”
but who cares, they make me happy and look so cute, so im putting them up !!!
we have our white lights on the screened in porch. always.
I think this is my girlfriend Erins room from Sacramento. Her apartment made it to the semifinals on Apartment Therapy.
I love white fairy lights. I have to admit I’m allways tempted to leave my all white lights up all year round instead of just at christmass. When I was a baby my Mum had little fairy lights in my room.
It is lovely – and I think that the shot is from last year’s small cool contest. Couldn’t tell you which entry, but 99% sure it’s apartment therapy.
when my husband and i moved into our first place together (a rental) the tub area was not so sweet, so he hung little christmas lights around the ceiling top and framed the area in soft, calming light. it did make an otherwise ugly space a little more magical.
Aw these are great…that would be a neat Flickr group…good decorating with Christmas lights. Maybe it already exists?
Yes! I will love them always!
oh i agree completely. the glow of the lights is just so calming and sweet. Maybe it’s the memories of christmas or college days, but i love them nonetheless!
yes! so lovely and glowy and magical! one thing we had right even back in college!
Too beautiful to be used only at Christmas!
Yes! I love them!
that’s a beach bungalow room… i love the green accents up on top of the molding.
I love fairy lights! Even inside on a large plant they are beautiful.
Yeah dorm room, but also pretty!
I like putting white fairy lights in a big clear vase for a nice table lamp effect!
I have a string of lights hanging in my room year-around. It brings joy to my life – since I rent and am not able to paint the walls :-)
Oooo … now I’m thinking about getting a string of white lights – very nice!
Dorm room whaaaa? I have a string of lights in my bungalow :)
If only the dorm rooms at my school looked like that!
Very magical, indeed.
Hi Joanna,
Yes, I know what you mean. I used to have stringed lights in Uni. Haha. Indeed, they’re magical.
Have a good day!
Deborah.
that is so college dorm room… in a good way. this picture brings back great memories…
I would like having them in my room. Very pretty.
Very pretty – I wish I had a room like that!
Including an island with no fast-food chains, and the bike capital of the U.S.
I couldnāt describe, exactly, the layout of the trailer my family moved into when we arrived in the United States...
