I’ve talked about my dad’s job as a spy, work photos, and quirky phone habits. Well, this morning, my aunt sent over these photos from when my dad was little. She says she got his duffle coat and knitted swim trunks as hand-me-downs, and they itched like crazy!

Knitted swim trunks – I’ve just done a piece on children’s clothing through the ages and knitted simmers were featured! How awful they must have been but (now showing my age) I was very partial to my crocheted bikini :)
What wonderful photos, and the quality is so great considering how old they must be. All of the photos of my parents are sort of on the yellowed side.
