My eyes teared up not only for the moment of the first dance and them being a beautiful couple, but I kept saying to my self “Beyonce do you even realize how lucky you are to be the one singing in that moment”? She started to tear up after she was done so that gave me satisfaction then I cried even more.

i’m continuously getting goosebumps from watching this. there is so much to look forward to. i love the fact that they never took their eyes off each other into the crowd. so much love! ahh! absolutely adorable.

i felt like i was watching the first dance at their wedding. such a romantic, celebratory moment.
I’ve read so much criticism of her dress, but frankly I think Michelle looked STUNNING. And I love the song that was chosen too—just perfect for what we are all feeling, I think! What a proud moment for each and every one of us!

the 19th’s New Yorker has a great article in it featuring an interview with the Obamas conducted in the mid 90’s (I think)- before the political career was launched.
They seemed very much in love then, as well… she says that she worries about him getting into politics because he’s such a “good guy” – check it out, it’s very sweet.
