Every Friday morning, we wait with our first grader at the corner for the bus to arrive. But instead of a big yellow school bus rolling up, it’s a fleet of parents and kids on bicycles: This is our neighborhood "bike bus."

What are you up to this weekend? We're going swimming at a community pool — the boys are psyched for the diving board — and then watching the Knicks game, of course.
