I used to get so frustrated with this making plans thing til I decided that I need to schedule everyone :)
Some friends I want to connect with once a month, some once every two months, and some once a quarter. Schedule in for the whole year or longer, and you have some very definite dates in there.
Our book club meets on the last Sat of every month, except for December, and this works so well for all of us.
Sorry for my English (I’m Swiss), but I have to write something here about Impossible Pork: don’t eat this kind of stuff, please… when you read the ingredient list, it scares you… this kind of food is much too transformed to be good for health… and the soy is certainly not produced in ways that are good for the planet.
Accurate…
I find that the farther out I schedule things, the less likely they are to happen. It seems to work better if I just call or text a friend and see if they’re available for lunch etc. today.
The struggle is real ? Between kids, partners, volunteering/hobbies, I’m very nearly booked thru April already! Thank gods for shared calendars or we’d never get to see each other ?
So, so accurate. “Can you do… April?”
So true!
Love this!

One of the biggest questions I get after our divorce is, Help! how do you break the news to the kids?
