One recent evening, we stopped by our friends’ house for a quick playdate, and lo and behold they had A BOUNCY CASTLE in their living room. The boys flipped! My friend explained that they ordered this bouncy house, which takes less than a minute to inflate. When her kids finish jumping, she just deflates it and keeps it in the corner.

We set up a trampoline in our kitchen last Christmas & it hasn’t left! Great for weekend morning while prepping breakfast, rainy days in summer, & of course cold winter days. It’s where our table used to be. Now we eat in the dining or living rooms.
Wow, that is so clever! Keeping kids entertained during the winter. especially over Christmas break, can really be a hassle. Plus, that would make a great Christmas gift. I bet it comes in a great big box that would make the kids so excited. I’ll have to look into it!
Yes! We also gave this to our boys this for Christmas and they are loving it… we live in a location with basements so ours takes up a bit of space in our unfinished basement but it still only takes less than a minute to inflate! Best gift ever if I say so myself:). Love your blog. Love.
We have a mini trampoline (an exercise trampoline) that my daughter loved jumping on indoors.

In the past, I’ve loved bouncy houses with my toddlers (now 2 and 4), however!!!! This September by then 3 year old broke her leg in a bouncy house! It was awful, she broke her tibia right through. She was all along and apparently just landed on it. Afterward I did some reading and found out that there are a lot of breaks on kids under 5. Apparently weak bones break easily under these strains. (Sorry to be a Debbie Downer.)

This is amazing! My favorite part is twofold: 1. tired kiddos who will nap/sleep well after so much bouncing, and 2. an easily collapsible, takes-up-minimal-space toy for small homes! Thanks for sharing. Will file this one away for my future motherhood adventures. xx
We bought one for $50 on Craigslist and kept it in a pretty basket with a lid. They can be a little loud in a small space, but it was one of the best things we did for our littles in winter.

We have this and it’s amazing! Great for freezing winters and hot summer days. Lifesaver for prents with young kids. We scored one on an after Christmas sale for $180. I highly recommend it! Then host a million play dates and your friends will love you forever.
I have an $80 queen inflatable matress. I wonder how good it’d be to inflate it (not all the way through until it’s taut) and put it in my livingroom.
I saw this on your Instagram! I got so excited I looked it up on Amazon and tried to convince my husband we needed one. So far we haven’t gotten it, but I have a feeling by the end of (cold) January his resolve will have weakened.
OK, I want one. I mean, I don’t have kids, but this would work well for a house of 20 something stressed out Londoners too, right? ;)

@Arp822 The bouncy house fan is not that loud, and my kids are 1.5 & 3, so maybe they’re not heavy enough to make that much noise. Our neighbor is in his early 70’s, awesome & I admit, a bit hard of hearing. We’re on the 4th floor (no elevator) & I’m 6 months pregnant – so this thing has SAVED us this winter!
As soon as I saw this in your Instagram feed I was hoping you would post about it. Looks awesome for the winter but alas, almost $400 + tax to get it in Canada.

We have one of those which we blow up in our backyard in Brooklyn! We bought it just our 4 year old’s birthday party, as it costs about the same or more to rent one. It literally takes a few seconds to inflate. The kids had a blast! And it folds up nicely small for storage.
