Good luck with your move! I moved a lot around with my parents as a child, and I’ll always remember the thrill that a new place brought :) it was so exciting to explore new spaces.

Good luck with the move. We moved last week and I’d forgotten how stressful it can be not to have a single spot of order and calm. What really helped me was to decide on one little corner that I could keep box-free so I would have a little place to withdraw when I got overwhelmed.

Seeing your pretty autumn nail polish(!), I vote that Caroline does a nail polish challenge… :) Fabulous colours, holding up well (or not)… It would be GREAT!

How to have a good night sleep: Don’t ever – ever – and I mean EVER have a child. Because you never sleep the same again. My babies are, oh 27 and 29 but I still can’t sleep through the night. Not that I would trade my sleep deprived nights for anything….Hanging my feet outside the bed hasn’t helped.

Oh my goodness. The sleep hack may be life-altering. I can’t wait to go to sleep now so I can try it! :) I frequently wake up in the middle of the night because I’m too warm!

Good luck!! I like sticking my feet out of the covers, but then every once in awhile I get terrified something will grab me and have to tuck them back in.

I actually think that moving OUT is significantly harder. Who never realize how much STUFF you have until you try to put it all in boxes.

But I enjoy putting everything away. Finding a spot for all of my favorite pieces. Maybe I’m weird!

I have a copy of A Short Guide to a Happy Life on my bathroom cabinet. More times than not, when people are in there for awhile, I find it’s bc they’ve been reading it. It’s right up there with the plunger as a “must-have” for the guest bathroom. :)

It would be great if you could talk a little bit about Ferguson when you’re back next Monday. Your faithful readers trust your views and look forward to your posts everyday. I can’t think of a better platform than this one. Think about if it were a world where your unarmed teenager could be shot ten times without justice served. To truly effect change, we need to rally together. It’s too tragic to live in a world where over twenty years later, the racial climate still hasn’t changed much since the Rodney King riots. I hope we won’t turn a blind eye.
