How sweet are these heart elbow patches? The steps to make them don’t actually look that hard! I’m the least crafty person ever, but I’d love to try it. They would make the most basic sweater instantly adorable.

Really sweet..It adds something to your dress….
I’m definitely doing this, just purchased a sweater that it will look perfect on! Thanks!!
I am in love with these heart elbow patches! incredibly sweet, and I love the contrast of the red on the tan/ecru/natural tone :) Such a fun idea!! Wish I was more of a DIY kinda gal!

I’d love these! Glasses are the bomb!
Hey I’ve made these: http://tomandemma.wordpress.com/2011/11/15/my-hipster-elbows/
My advice would be to use a leather fabric or something that won’t pill in the wash. And also get someone else to mark your elbow spot because I did a bad job of that!
Such a neat idea!
these are so cute-might have to try and get creative!
I love hearts in general! My next DIY for sure!
That is brilliant ! Now i have to think which sweaters ‘need’ patches or a make-over :) .I’m really thinking of adding this to all the kids jackets for a V-day surprise :)Wouldn’t be cool if they put on their jackets at the same time and notice a little hearts!!?? Priceless photos shoot ….and I have 4 potential kiddos for this lovely surprise …
the cutest!
I just bought something with elbow patches on it for the first time (a cardigan) and I have to say they’re pretty fun! It’s just this little extra special touch to an outfit.
I totally want to DIY this!!
oh my gosh sooooo cute.

I just joined pinterest and saw these! Fell in love :)
I did this last weekend from that tutorial. It was really easy and the sweater looks adorable. My advice is to not fill the cookie cutter too full, or the patch is easy to peel off. The good news is that there are no holes in the sweater, so you can just peel it off and try again!
“Like”. :)
Just made some shortbread cookies that would go perfectly with this sweater!

The other day I sewed a heart patch over a tiny hole in my daughter’s long-sleeved tee. It looks really cute! I want to sew them on everything.
These are so cute! I totally want a sweater with them – hmm, now which one can I add them to…
Much love,

I have the perfect sweater to do that to, but I too do not have a crafty gene in my body!
love this!! i am going to have to try it xo
Needle felting is really fun! I highly recommend it! It’s nice to see a modern take on it too, so much needle felted apparel is rather old lady-ish.
What a lovely twist on an old professor-ish idea! I love men’s wear inspired clothing, and I think this would be an awesome contrast in my wardrobe! Thanks!
As somewhere who is wearing a blazer with elbow patches right now, I’m in love with this idea. And how apropos for Vday!
Wearing these would make me happy.
I really want to have a go at needle felting now! It looks so easy and good fun.
That’s so adorable! Perfect for anytime of year! Thanks for finding this:)
