So for this Relationships Thursday, let’s talk about kissing! How old were you when you had your first kiss? I was…

…the old age of 17. I was visiting my grandparents in England for the summer, and my cousins and I made friends with one of the boys who lived in the town. His name was Adrian, and he had messy blonde hair and a cute Cornish accent. One day, we went for a walk–just the two of us–and made awkward conversation, and finally, finally he kissed me. It was short but sweet, and I was elated.

My first boyfriend, however, was two years earlier: a funny, goofy guy at my high school. (That’s us, below, going to homecoming!) We started “dating” sophomore year of high school, but I was too nervous to ever kiss him! I worried that I wouldn’t know what to do if he kissed me–like how would I move my mouth? Was I supposed to do something with my tongue? It boggled my 15-year-old mind, so I just did the mature thing and…avoided it completely.

So, spill the beans: How old were you when you had your first kiss? Who was the lucky guy or girl? Were you nervous?

P.S. Remember this Joan Rivers trick?
