P.S. Remember these pothole gardens?

I wish someone would come to Chicago and do this… I don’t think there’s enough yarn in the world ;) What a sweet little happy surprise!
That is AWESOME!!
This is such a fun idea. We wouldn’t be upset if someone wondered around Manhattan patching up pot holes with colorful designs. In fact, we wouldn’t mind if someone went around NYC patching up potholes period.
What a cool idea! I wonder how she does that – is it adhered to the ground or actually knitted/sewn to the cement?
Cute idea!
what a cool idea!
Clever! There remember reading a post about someone who did the same but with lego!
a piece of art….so colorful and great…
wow that is such an interesting concept! xo

this is just delightful!
i love this! thanks for posting.
haha! that is so random but I LOVE it!
So cute! Very fun.
This reminds me of the work German artist Jan Vormann who repairs cracks in walls with LEGO!
Urban art rocks, it’s clever and best of all accessible.
i LOVE projects like this…while you’re creating art…why don’t you brighten up your city a bit. a girl on our college campus last winter knit a bunch of sweaters and hats for all of the creepy iron statues around campus (humans and animals) so there were squirrels in winter caps and sweaters and goats and all of that…made everyone brighten up for finals week.
Unusual for sure! Love the colour composition! And they really pop out from the dark pavement!!!
SO BEAUTIFUL!!
Los Angeles needs lots of those!!! Then I’ll be a fan of potholes!
Cute idea! How come I´ve never seen them yet? Gotta look better where I put my feet :)
xx Ivana
Oh! It makes my heart leap… and totally reminds me of something that the artist from the ColorMeKatie blog would do (and I think she’s a part of Improv Everywhere, too). Neat-O!
What a lovely way to turn destruction into something beautiful! He would have a field day here in Chicago! Thanks for sharing!
we just got back from paris last night and went on a search for cool street art. bummed we didn’t run into any of these – they’re beautiful!
awww very cool! I love the pot holes filled with flowers! (forget if I saw that story on your blog or where?)
How gorgeous! I’d love to walk down that street!
Hm, I think it’s kind of pointless really… the aim seems to be to get a nice photo so we can all say ‘aww, how clever!’ It’ll be filthy in about 5 minutes, between cyclists and pedestrians and/or their dogs…
Hahaha I don’t really like it, I’m not gonna lie.
Why can’t she fill it with something cuter and more weather resilient!?
Those are awesome!
Love it…the French version of Knitta Please!
what an amazing way of turning something ugly to something beautiful. LERF.

the daily nook!
How beautiful is that! People are amazing.
That’s awesome! I wonder though, how long does it last? I mean does anyone take the yarn home off the street? Or are they better behaved in France than the U.S.?
I can’t begin to explain how much I love this!
I love street art like this! So pretty :D
This look so pretty.
Im a new follower. Just found your blog today. Can’t wait to read more.
love the pothole gardens too!
we need to start something similar here in Iowa!!
wah! LOVE IT! & the pothole gardens! brilliant!
What a way to create a spring in ones’ step!! I wonder about the permission for this; people can be funny about things like that…I hope that they remain as they are as it’s a really sweet (original) idea!

LOVE THIS!! I wish she would come to Houston, we have plenty of potholes to cover :)
This is so great, I’d love to see someone do this in NY. xo
What a neat idea! Those would be so lovely to admire while on a walk. Thanks for sharing!

How creative!
Beautiful! I am sure all the many cyclists in the city love her.
i’m sure this kind of originality is evident all over the world but part of me still wants to say “only in paris!”
I love these! Me and my mom are going to participate in covering parts of Salt Lake city in yarn for the Art’s festival this summer.
My mom says she can now add graffiti artist to her resume at 50 :)
I saw this over on honestly wtf too, and I just love it! The colors are so happy-making! What a wonderful way to randomly bring beauty into every day life.
that’s beautiful! someone should do the same for the rough roads here in montréal
What a sweet idea! I wonder if Juliana is available to come patch up our street. It is like the Grand Canyon of potholes. Drives me bananas!
What a sweet idea!
This is such a great idea of making something broken and making it beautiful! I might have to start this in our pot hole haven in Iowa.
