How pretty is this mint water? It’s so easy to make and looks really refreshing. Wouldn’t it be nice to have a few flavored waters in the fridge for Thanksgiving guests? Maybe lemon, orange, mint and cucumber…

Quite worthwhile information, thanks so much for the post.
I love when my husband and i pass time together specially when we are with all the family celebrating the thanksgiving. Is sure this year we´ll be happy all of us together and enjoying. But i am thankful because my husband buy viagra and he has more self-steem.I am really happy.
These articles are fantastic; the information you show us is interesting for everybody and is really good written. It’s just great!! Do you want to know something more? Read it…: Great investment opportunity in Costa Rica
It’s my favorite on hot days, preferably with a slice of lemmon in it.
This idea is great and mint leaves in water is a lovely picture.

Bises,

infused water reminds me of spas! i love it so very much that i’ve begun to put cucumber in my brita filter at home!
one of my favorite sandwich shops (a quasi-bahn mi place) sets out pitchers of cucumber-mint water, and it is so refreshing and tasty!
This is such a nice touch. Pretty photos too!
I like this idea a lot. I went to a jazz club this weekend where they served gin and rosemarry.
Also – cucumber water is lovely and refreshing too!!
You know what would be even better: crushing the mint and perhaps some lemon into a large pitcher or one of those apothecary jars with a spout, pour the water over ice and let it sit for maybe half a day. It’s delicious. I also really love cucumber water and strawberry/pineapple water. It’s much better without all the bits of muddled mess though, so I’d use a pitcher with a spout or strain the excess bits out.
Lemon water is my favorite and mom always makes me lemon water when I am really thirsty. I would love try that mint water, that looks so refreshing!
Simply beautiful and refreshing. Have had lemon and orange slices- even fruit in water pitchers- but the mint is perfect.
i love flavoring water with fresh ingredients. we always keep some lemon water in a pitcher in the frig at all times. it’s so cold and refreshing, a nice way to wake up in the morning :)
Oooh, that sounds like a great idea! For a while I was into serving guests cucumber water. They were so skeptical at first, but now they all have jugs of it in their fridges during the summer time. Hehe
Mint water with a raspberry or blueberry fruit is sexy!
I love the table or tablecloth in that picture. Our T’giving table is never that pretty – but the food is always oh-so-good! :)
What are your Thanksgiving plans Joanna?
I am in charge of beverages this year, so you might have saved my tushy!
Love,

Looks refreshing! I was fortunate to drink it in a restaurant and was expecting something minty, but it tastes pretty much like a usual water.
Awesome. I love this, your article so interesting. Thank you for sharing.
Cucumber water is the best. LOVE it.
Pretty, I’ll have to try this!
oh neat idea. Gotta try that sometime. =) I bet that is so refreshing. I could probably use some of that, especially since in my side of the world all we have is summer summer and summer. =)
That sounds wonderful!!! I also love mint in iced tea, which may be to summery but I love it! Thank you for the great suggestion.
great idea. i love mint waters – good for the sinuses in winter!
Yum! How is it that I’ve never had this before, when it seems so obvious? I imagine it’s a perfect pairing with fruit. Cucumber water is so good…
I’ve never had mint water, but I’m a big fan or orange and cucumber water. Good idea!
Yum! I love mint water!
That whole setup is lovely…especially the table cloth :)
yum. reminds me of Indian restaurants.
Definitely pretty, and who doesn’t need some refreshing mint on turkey day (after eating all of that heavy food I know I’d like some!)
I second the cucumber water. I mostly drink it in the summer when the cukes are growing out of control in the garden. I will think of doing a version on Turkey Day too!
at my sister’s wedding we filled giant glass canisters with water and floated grapefruit, lemon, lime, and orange slices! so refreshing, and I love love love the mint idea!
Great idea. I am going to make for Thanksgiving!
Best,

Lovely idea, I will have to try this, definitely!
ps:forgot to mention…frozen in ice cubes! visual delight for sure~
Had this when we were in Thailand…refreshing!
xo*
Love those colours!
And were is turkey?!….:-)
Oh boy, you made rather hungry than fhirsty.
Happy Thanksgiving.
Such a pretty table!
I LOVE yummy things in a water pitcher. Tastes and looks great! I never thought of mint but it sounds perfect for a meal like Thanksgiving.
What a great idea!! :) My mother fell in love with lime water when we were in the desert a few years ago.
Great idea! I like a slice of cucumber and a slice of lemon in my water personally. Hadn’t thought of it for thanksgiving, and I’ll def do it now!
Mint water sometimes tastes like toothpaste water to me..
Great Idea
Yumm!! I am going to have to try this.
I’ve never thought of fresh mint water, we drink lots of fresh mint tea but I bet it’s just as delicious in plain old water. Lovely.
that does look lovely, especially if you were to find some chocolate mint!
Too funny! Earlier today I was drinking mint tea and thinking about how I should make some mint water to keep in the fridge. I guess you’re just reminding me I need to make that mint water.
Very nice. Sounds very refreshing.
it’s especially good and pretty if you shave the cucumber into long ribbons using a potato peeler.
i wish we had thanksgiving to look forward to. it’s a long standing fantasy of mine to have a proper thanksgiving blow-out. anyone wanna invite me?
Great idea! Not all mints are created equal though. Last year I picked some wild mint from my yard to make mojitos, it wound up tasting like I had grass clippings in my drink! ha…taste test first dahling!
that’s a great idea! it looks pretty too
That’s how they serve mint tea in Amsterdam – just swap out cold water for boiling. It’s beautiful and delicious. . . unless the mint has bugs in it, which happened to me THRICE. Oh well!
I love this idea!
Sliced orange is also delish!
Thanks doll,
The Glamorous Housewife
yes, the cucumber mint water! i was at a seminar at the W hotel in san francisco a couple years ago and they served water with mint sprigs and slices of lemons, limes and cucumbers. i think it adds instant posh to whatever i’m doing now!
at my favorite Bliss Spa, they have a beautiful jug full of cucumber slices in water. It makes all the difference.
Cucumber water is sooo good! I used to work at a spa and part of my duties was setting up these huge vats (albiet very pretty vats!) of ice water and cutting up lemons, cucumbers, and every now and then berries and watermelon to put in them. Mint too. Guests loved it and it’s still something I incorporate in my day to day.
I prefer my mint floating in a mojito : )
When my husband and I were on our honeymoon we visited a tiny hole-in-the-wall restaurant in Helsinki that did this — it was so simple but a really nice touch.
Mmm. It sounds so good and it looks so pretty. My favorite lately is cucumber water. It tastes so refreshing!
my family’s been doing this ever since i can remember – we squeeze some lemon in it also.
it started because my dad was crazy about having tea in the house – and one day we ran out (oh dear) and my mom didn’t have time to go to the store so she improvised by throwing a big handful of mint from the yard with a lemon. now we don’t drink regular water on holidays. we also do sliced apple and sliced orange. its amazing. try it. please.
So gorgeous! I love water with oranges!
I love mint leafs in water…I took some mint leafs from my Granny’s yard in Colorado when I was 12 and planted them in my Mom’s backyard in Las Vegas. They still grow. I need to learn to write one sentence comments.
I love mint water and have it often in the summer – thanks for the reminder to bring it back in the fall. As Emily noted, what a great compliment to the heaviness that is often on the Thanksgiving table…
And pretty too!
I love this idea!
Have a great Thanksgiving
