I LOVE this website! Would also love to hear the story behind these people/pictures.
I’m a kid of the 70’s and 80’s and it’s so crazy looking at photos from the 70’s every adult has a cocktail in hand and there’s always a cloud of smoke lingering in the air in every photo, there were always a ton of people visiting and everyone always had a blast!
the most awesome parents are hippie parents :)

Oh I love this!!! I made an album on my Facebook with my favourite old photos of my parents. Everyone commented saying how awesome my parents were! They really were. Dated since they were 16. Both of them were gorgeous hippies and so in love. My dad was an incredible photographer and took the most stunning photos of them! So special. I love that I look just like my mum too!!
Wow, those photos are amazing. Sometimes in the moment we might think the photo didn’t catch our perfect side, but looking back those photos caught are authentic side, so real and raw. Beautiful!

My parents are still awesome! :) I have pictures of them from the 70s that blow my mind… my mum wore the shortest skirts and my dad had the biggest bell bottoms lol Hilarious but very awesome indeed.

Great post! Love it! My parents were (and still are!) awesome! They were hippy archaeologists (the family business) and were well traveled. I am so thankful that they raised me to be just like them!
My parents are STILL awesome, the kind of awesome that makes you wish in high school that they weren’t quite so awesome because in comparison you’re looking kind of lame.
So needless to say, they were awesome and have taught me a lot. Whether that knowledge sticks….?
My parents were COOOL and still are!! I borrowed my dad’s vintage track jacket in high school.. he had the best style, and my mom was oh so cute!! They met in their twenties and I use an old pic of them at the beach as a bookmark.. it makes me happy!!
