This beautiful bike is not only handmade from rare and vintage parts, it also has a hidden flask. Genius.

I like it, but I wish that it were upside down, so that it would mesh with the seat better. It looks like a very short bike (look how close the rear tire is to the seat tube, and how close the down tube is to the front tire), which would make for twitchy handling–which could be a challenge for a drunk. I do wish even more that the flask would be somehow integrated into the frame, like Lance’s water bottles- that would be cool if there was a little pop up straw that you could sip from while riding, or a flask that looked like a bike pump.
Now that I’m thinking about it, I used to ride with some guys in North Carolina who would stash some herbs in the bottom of their seat post and seal it with a cork. They were just a quick-release skewer away from enlightenment.
I love this, great for winter rides. I think me and C will need to add these to our drinks.
wow, so pretty
Nice bike, and the flask is very smart
omg…this is too much. I love it!
AH! i’m in love!
Oh Jo! I want that bike!!!!! lol! it is so pretty, and the flask is just a bonus… sheesh! I really have to win the lotto if I’m to pay the debts and get a bike like that!
Thanks for the minutes of dreams, though! LOL!
that’s genius! lol…it makes it even easier to get a B.U.I.
I adore that hidden bike flask so much.
What an adorable idea! I went to a college where BUI’s were handed out like crazy, and you had to walk on the street with you cup faced down as they thought if you had an upward facing cup there was alcohol in it…this would have been the perfect bike!:-)
that bike is sexy!! love it!
Nice idea! And what an elegant bike!! Perfect for the Tweed Run.
I had a bike like this it was outside an old man’s house with a sign attached saying ‘FREE RIDE AWAY’ so I asked him and took it! haha it had a bell and everything but then my dad threw it in the tip…..:(
that is the idea of my perfect bike
perhaps i wouldn’t say that when i’d drank a little too much and had an accident
but wow
its breathtakingly beautiful
xxxxxxxxxxxx
That’s kick ass!
such a great bike! i love the little flask.
Love it, that’s what good design is all about!
The best things in life are elegantly simple
sneaky, sneaky!
a stroke of genius…. and that buttery leather color is to die for!
we are thinking of doing wine tasting by bicycle (in santa barbara) for my bachelorette party! this just cuts out the middle man!
A bike builder I much admire, Joseph Ahearne, makes a flask holder that is easy to mount on any bike with water bottle bosses. He also built this little beauty: http://www.ahearnecycles.com/pages/maggiemixte.html
*sigh* I could moon over bikes for an unhealthily long amount of time.
