absolutely divine… we have a lovely pool in Miami called the venetian pool, very green… spring waters in an old quarry/coral… it’s a must stop when you are here in Miami…

Giddy and magical is right! There is an area in Glenwood Canyon in Colorado called Hanging Lake. The lake is this color, sits right on a mountainside, and then falls straight down the side of the mountain. The trail up to it runs right alongside the mountain stream the runs from the lake. It is one of my favorite places in the world!
She captured the colors so beautifully. I’m more of a pool girl (I like to see what’s under my feet!) but nothing beats laying next to the lake or river in a nice big tree’s shadow with a good book.
Oh so cool and calm. I love that feeling of slowly submerging in the water.

Aw natural water to soak in your body…. FL has ton of lakes, but there are gators greeting you in there. It would be a wonderful experience to jump in the water like in the pics because I haven’t done it in a looooooooong time:)

i nearly melted when i saw these pictures…they remind me of the eerily beautiful movie “the swimming pool.”
i have always loved how chilly water on a hot day reverts even the most serious faced person back to their giddy childhood self…. the squealing, shreiking, cringing tip-toeing kids come out of the woodwork. :) if i could make a coffee table book, i would document faces as they entered a cold pool. happiness! :)
