love that cat! I had one who would play and cuddle up to my handicapped daughter. He resides in heaven now and I am sure he is giving love to anyone who needs it. If buddy holly can’t cheer you up, try Willie Nelson. He got me through 2007 which was my year of h*ll.

hi Jo- you know I thought of something else to get you out of gloom- paint your front room pink! I had a friend who had an apartment off Tompkins Square Park and the sun came up every morning through the front windows and hit her deep pink walls to create this incredible orange-pink glow, it was so amazing- good energy vibes come off that color!

How I love this pic!! When my baby was born my mother-in-law was nearly made us part with our cats for fear of them smothering the baby… I looked into it and there is no evidence of a cat ever having smothered a baby… Now I wish I’d let the cats nap with the baby! :)

Oh, I’m so glad you feel better. I’m having a really rough time of it & worried when you didn’t have a post up.
No matter how awful I do feel, the cat who oversees this blog (friends refer to her as my “enigmatic feline employer”)looks like the one next to that cute baby. And GG aka la Julie doesn’t care how awful I look or how crabby I am. Right now, she’s asleep on her chair next to mine at the desk. (On purple fleece…for comfort, oui, but also to make her always-stylish red/white costume pop:)
My mom used to say how great it was that our cat & dog had but one fabulous outfit. They always looked so chic. I loved thinking that as a kid & I still do.
