

I’ve been anxious my whole life, but recently it’s has been spiking more than usual. I’m not sure why — allergies? perimenopause? my new birth control pill? — but whatever reason, it’s annoying. I’ve tried my usual tactics, like taking long walks, hanging out with my kids, and reading books I’m really into. And yet!
One thing that did help last night was watching comedy sketches. This one with Maya scatting in PEN15 really made me laugh, so much so that Anton came into my room to ask what was so funny; and when I showed him, he loved it, too.
