Vintage wedding dresses were either short sleeved or long sleeved with V necks or high collars. The dress was worn with a tulle veil and the court train. It wasn’t uncommon for a woman to wear her wedding dress to different functions and outings. This was possible since the court train could be removed and the dress worn separately.

OMG this is so darling – and what a gorgeous gown – looks like delicate and really fabulous lace. These are my favorite ones to do – I’m doing one right now that is so much fun. The lace on these vintage gowns is absolutely delicate and so intricate. There’s no way you can even get this lace anymore. There’s so much to the vintage gowns other than just being old.

I wore a vintage wedding dress at my wedding, but I didn’t have a real photographer take pictures. I love the pictures where people hang their wedding dresses and light shines through the blinds. maybe I should take pictures of it two years later.
