In order to grow our small business, Cup of Jo earns revenue in a few different ways. We publish several sponsored posts each month, which are always labeled at the top. We also sometimes earn an affiliate commission on the sales of products we link to. We feature only items we genuinely love and want to share, and this is an arrangement between the retailer and Cup of Jo (readers never pay more for products). These are the ways we support Cup of Jo, and allow us to run the site and engage with this community we truly love. Thank you for reading!

I normally hate newsletters (hello… too much junk mail already!) but I love your content so much I would actually enjoy receiving it!

I’m nervous about signing up to the newsletter before because going on to check what’s new on the blog each day is a treat and I wouldn’t want anything to take away from that!?
you are so sweet, ella! we recap some of the posts from the week, but we don’t do any spoilers for upcoming content, so no worries there! xoxo
love your email! i look forward to it every week. it’s like a little pop!
hahah the gif of jimmy made me chuckle at my work desk just now

Not to look a gift horse, but it doesn’t seem like there is much new in the newsletter if I’m already avidly reading the blog…
thanks for your note! we strive to have 50% of the emailer be new content, but we will add more in future newsletters to make sure it feels original and stand-alone. thank you for the feedback! xoxo
Thanks, Joanna! I mean, Cup of Jo is already a staple of my lunch time routine. ;-)
Ditto. I read your blog everyday and unsubscribe from the newsletter because it seemed geared towards people who don’t read CoJ often. I’ll re-subscribe if it includes more original content, but right now it seems to only contain one quote / a link that isn’t already on the blog.
Totally agree, Kate. Love the blog (so much! A favorite for sure!), but I unsubscribed from the newsletter because there wasn’t much in that wasn’t recycled blog content. Awesome for people who don’t visit the blog much, but not too exciting for those of us who stalk Cup of Jo for new posts and devour each one. :) Joanna and team—If you end up changing the newsletter formula to include more new stuff, please post about it so we know to give it another shot. Thanks!
yes, we are definitely increasing the percentage of new content from now on! so helpful to have this feedback. thank you so much, sarah! xoxo
Love the newsletter Joanna. it is awesome.
Been re-watching old Seinfeld episodes lately. Love your “Yay! This is going to be fun” clip.
I signed up, and have been getting them…but I’ll admit I find them redundant if you’re a daily Cup of Jo visitor. I’m not sure the marginal content is really worth the email to be honest. I can see if you don’t check Cup of Jo daily how it would be nice to aggregate everything but I don’t find it a huge value add. Thought you’d like the feedback. I love Cup of Jo otherwise! I actually wouldn’t mind getting the Friday links as an email instead of a post.
Best,
