I agree with the underrated place in Virginia. I grew up near there. In fact, my grandfather was a night watchman at the old ferry dock before it became a state park, years and years ago. When I was a little girl, we used to take him dinner down there at night and it was so spooky. I’ve always thought the concrete ships were kind of spooky, too.

All of the eye rolls to the person that decided Bozeman is underrated. If you’ve spent time in MT you know that it’s one of the trendiest (and bigger) towns in our rural state. Maybe try Butte for underrated.. it gets a bad rap all the time but has a super fascinating history (it was bigger than NY during the copper boom), good whiskey and an intact speakeasy.

Ok….Jeffery and Ina’s wedding pictures = cutest thing I’ve seen in a LONG time.

I called it – NY’s Finger Lakes are definitely underrated! Letchworth State Park is a must see. It’s called the Grand Canyon of the East for good reason.

Gotta say, I was pretty disappointed in the underrated pick for my state. I mean, the Indianapolis zoo? Seems a little lazy. Then again, there’s not a whole lot going on in Indiana, even to be underrated, but I would have gone with the Indiana Dunes. Because beaches.

I loved the ballet article – hilarious. I danced when I was younger and whenever I watch any kind of arts, particularly ballet or musical theatre, I feel such an intense wish to be part of it. It’s like when you finish an epic story and wish it was inside of you or you were the main character or something. I don’t know what I would have actually accomplished, but both of those things make me wish, maybe especially because I wonder if I actually could have made it!

OMG, that ballerina article! That’s how I feel about surfing! I just know – despite never having tried – that I’d be a kick ass surfer. I watch all the surf films and am insanely confident I could star & do my own surf stunts. Except not Blake Lively and the shark situation. No, safe surfing only. Close to shore. Mostly on the sofa.

Yes to the underrated list! While scrolling I was hoping Chattanooga would be the Tennessee pick. :) When I moved here 5 years ago I didn’t realize it used to be the most polluted city in the U.S. — now it’s vibrant, artistic, and SO lovely almost year-round.
