I face the same fashion quandary every year… Clothing sites (take JCREW for example) or fashion blogs tend to show really cute outfits for autumn/winter. However, cute dresses and skirts tend to be shown on bare legged women. I live on Cape Cod, and come January, this is simply not possible unless I have a death wish. I’d love a style posting on cute outfits for winter that take into account the reality of winter climates and the fact that most days we’ll be wearing boots and tights. I need inspiration, especially for the office!!
I’ve just ordered the Off the shoulder dress, cannot wait for it to arriver. Can you do a post how to wear ordinary clothes during pregnancy. We’re expecting our first baby and I’m soooo lost getting dressed. Thanks :)

I would love to see a piece on Slow Fashion on Cup of Jo. Stores like Zady are making pieces that (yes, are a little more pricey) but are meant to last a lifetime, don’t follow any of the moment trends, and won’t harm our planet like some of the dyes and chemicals used in a lot of fast fashion will. Pretty please!

Great selections! Fall is my absolute favorite season for clothing! I love the bomber jacket the most, but I have such a jacket obsession its crazy. I have a whole section of my closet dedicated to various jackets, and it’s my favorite when the temps dip down low enough that I can bring them out!!

I own those exact Superga sneakers and they are the best, the low cut is really cute and they are so comfortable. The only issue is they are hard to find socks that don’t show because of the unique cut.
I’m also loving that shift dress and it’s so cheap! Black dress and tights are kind of my uniform in the winter. Thanks for inspiration.
I got a pair of navy Supergas from Target this summer – I was going to tour England and wanted something slightly more chic than my typical Converse, but still made for walking (and walking and walking…). They were perfect. Super comfy and cute. Two thumbs up!

The off-the-shoulder dress is so sweet! I’m trying to avoid fast fashion, and it’s a big challenge! (Resisting all that looks lovely.) I’ll be hitting the consignment boutiques for a couple of cozy sweaters and a dress for autumn in the near future.
Emily, I’m trying to avoid fast fashion, too, and focus instead on brands that are more environmentally focused and concerned for the fair treatment of their employees. It can be challenging to check all the labels and research different compabies, but I think it’s important to consider where our clothes one from, just like we do with our food. I’ve found that Reading My Tea Leaves has some good ethical fashion posts, but many of the pieces are often out of my budget. I’d love to see a roundup here on Cup of Jo if you think that would interest your readers, Joanna! I really love all the pieces you’ve featured here, but not that they’re made in China.
