  5. Audra says...

I love this so much! I’m totally pre-ordering. Hopefully the humor in this book can remind me to calm down once in awhile :)

  6. Gemma is a flippin genius! haha! Over-thinkers united! Yesterday I was having a sucky day and when I read this last night, it made me laugh! I needed it.

  7. These are AMAZING!!! The stickers are my favorite. I agree we deserve these as adults and they also took me back to dentist visits as a kid. I can relate to most of these!

  8. This is the truth! It’s such a relief to see this depicted with such frankness and humor. I’m glad I stumbled onto this blog. As a fellow blogger, keep up the good work and I look forward to her book :)

  9. Meredith says...

I always love seeing Emma’s comics on your site! FYI – I was very excited to read there would be 6 preview comics, but only counted 4 (or 5 if you include the hilarious cover). Thanks again for sharing!

  11. Margaret says...

I wish I had an Ivy the IUD sticker.

  12. I’m such a huge fan, all thanks to this blog :) I can relate to Gemma’s map of an introvert’s heart more than I’d like to admit!

  13. This is brilliant! I love Gemma’s work and am so happy to have discovered her via A Cup of Jo. The introverts heart is one of my favorites—can’t wait to read her new book!

  14. The “I Was Brave At My Pap Smear” sticker had me actually laugh out loud! I love the Introverts Heart too — spot-on!

  26. Charlotte says...

    Looks amazing! Especially that heart.

  27. I love the adult stickers! I’m a huge proponent for simple rewards for adulting in general. Gold stars all around!

  28. totally wish i still got stickers for doing stuff!! in fact, can’t say i won’t discretely take one off a baby and ‘re-reward it’ to myself if it’s a keeper. (i have other better qualities, lol . . . )

  29. jeannie says...

This book looks hilarious. I love her illustrations.

  30. Lauren E. says...

These are phenomenal. I relate to every single one! The only thing missing is the client work lunch. Whenever I have to go out to coffee or lunch with a colleague or a client, I stress about it all freaking day. What will I say? What if we have nothing in common? What if there are awkward pauses? What if I stumble over my words? It’s awful.

    • Carmen B says...

Me too. I don’t know why, since I’ve never had any bad experiences with work lunches. I worry nonetheless.

  31. Carmen B says...

Real life horror movies. LMAO, that’s so me!
I love everything Gemma Correll. Can’t wait to get this book.

  32. annie g says...

These are brilliant! The stickers! The toys! Hurrah for introverts everywhere…the jokes are funny, we just don’t always tell them.
Mind your own business, noisy people.

  33. angela says...

haha love it! i wish i got a fun sticker for every time i cooked (ramen)! stickers make the world go round :)

  34. Love the Map of the Introvert’s Heart. My hubs picked the Map of a Woman’s Heart from 20×200 a while back and, while pretty, it’s so patronizing and weird (“love of dress,” “love of admiration,” “land of selfishness). This option is WAY more my style.

  35. Written for me! I just wanted to say that I love the new look for the website!

  36. Nicole says...

This cracked me up! It’s so true! But wait- are you saying that not everyone thinks this way??? ;-)

  37. I just read the quote, “Worry and you get what you worry about. Work and you get what you work for.” I love it!!

  38. Neely says...

haha! love these! especially the introverts heart and real life horror movies. Made me laugh out loud. :)
