So random, but the girl in the upper left photo looks like a perfect cross between a young Rosanna Arquette and Rachel McAdams!
Thanks for all the great links!
Wonderful! Really inspiring!
Hi Joanna! I’ve been reading your blog for a while but never commented because I get caught into reading more and more, from one post to the next one. Your voice translates into every post and I surely appreciate that. Thanks for the how to do everything! Great idea!

I’m glad you’re able to be with your family this week…hope you can find comfort in each other.
Really enjoyed the “effortlessly beautiful” link. It’s nice to know that I’m not the only one who thinks those tiny shavers are the best thing ever. Also, I’ll be checking out that shampoo and conditioner mentioned. Trying to get my hair back to a healthier state after dyeing, re-dyeing, and using so much heat on it!
I love all yor posts, I really enjoy reading you.
Thinking of you and Alex. I’m sure it means so much to his family to have you there.
Hope you have a great time in California! Thanks for the post :)
thanks for your transparency. I lost my brother in 2012. he went for a run and had a massive brain hemorrhage. he left behind 4 kids and his beautiful wife, my sister-inlaw. I still miss him terribly – he was vibrant, smart, full of life and an amazing big brother. my sister-inlaw has started a blog. I though you’d like this entry. there is beauty from ashes. peace Joanna. lifting you and your extended family up in my prayers.

I love these posts! Looking back through these links I remember how many tips and tricks I gleaned from. Thanks for the reminder. :)
Hope you and your boys are doing alright. Good for you for taking the week off to be where you need to be. Much love.
Hi Joanna – Thanks for posting these while you’re gone; and I hope you enjoy your vacation! Looking at your relationships list, I realized most of your articles deal with the extremes of relationships – you’re single, it’s ok; it’s over, how do you get over it; you’re married, how do you keep it fun. One of the things I would love to hear your perspective on is the in-between part… when you’re with someone and trying to figure out if this is the person you want to make a go at life with or not. I somehow always find myself in relationships where I’m actively wondering… is this the one? And figuring that out is so complicated.
Anyway, figured I’d throw that out there as you always have such good insight/advice. :)
The perfect way to spend a morning at home.
The perfect way to spend a morning home!
Hope you have the best time in sunny California! I love when you do these how to round-ups, it’s always nice to go back and re-read old posts :)
