Have a Great Weekend.

What are you up to this weekend? My dad is coming to visit, and Toby is super excited to show off his violin. (He’s been practicing:) Tomorrow I’m also volunteering at a city school, whose arts program has been completely cut, to talk to kids about blogging as a career. We’re doing a craft project, where they’ll cut out magazine photos and quotes to create their own “blog” on paper. Looking forward to it. Have a great weekend, and here are some fun links from around the web…

I still kick it old school with “blogging on paper”…aka scrapbooking.

  27. Creating their own paper blog would be such a fun project, I think!
Great links. Now I really want to make that mac and cheese!

  28. I’m a violin teacher, have been playing for 21 years. Keep that kid on a good practice schedule and he will be a great violinist! Good luck with the under served program, I’m lucky to live in Texas where that kind of thing is not a big issue, most to all kids get music education.

  29. Hi Joanna!

What is the name of the school or program where you’re volunteering? I would love to learn more about that!
