    Have a good weekend Joanna!

P.S. Would you ever do a post about dating older men? I know that Alex is thirteen years older than you, which I thought was a lot until I started seeing someone who is ten years older than I am and we have no problem with it! He is a great guy and we have so much in common intellectually which means a lot. But, my friends have been skeptical and I cannot imagine talking to my parents about it! What do you think? How do you/did you go about it with your relationship with Alex?

  26. I’m still recovering from strep, so I plan on spending the next couple of hours perusing the links you’ve included in this post from bed!

  27. Those muscle pictures were SOBERING! I sent them to my family and friends. Talk about motivation to keep on moving!

The laundry post- what a gorgeous piece. I look forward to your fun Friday posts; they brighten up the grayest winter day!

On a sidenote, I noticed that some of your links seem to be hooked to linksynergy (such as the J.Crew link today). Thank you for disclosing that you post affiliate links on the side bar of your blog, but would you consider disclosing the sponsor for products/product lines on your posts to inform readers outright?

  37. From someone WITH an office job, I’d love to assure you that, despite the adorableness of those work ensembles, NOTHING can persuade me that my day would not be better spent at home, writing, and drinking coffee on this rainy San Francisco day. Instead of sitting at my office job.

    Happy weekend!
    Hilary

  38. I’ve been freaking out about Domino since I saw it earlier this week on Twitter. So. Beyond. Excited. With so many fans, how did they ever go under?!

You have convinced me! I am taking up jogging again and doing weights. Also, love the work clothes!

  40. That puppy photo is the cutest. Look at those glasses! But then, I always go nuts over cute doggy pics. I’m like Alex that way. :)

  41. YOU MADE MY MONTH! with the domino mag news. so excited. are they coming back full-time?! eek.

  42. Your Friday link posts always puts a great end to my week. Just like Emily’s Cupcakes & Cashmere’s “Five Things”…
    Thank you!

  43. STAR WARS :D It is so funny, I cannot stop listen to it.

  44. Have a great weekend! The miniature train is going to be tons of fun!! (I’m kind of jealous)

  45. Your Friday features at the end of every week are so clever. Thx…

  46. I totally know what you mean about those awesome work clothes. My work environment is very relaxed and there isn’t a real dress code at all. My “regular” clothes are even a tad dressier than my coworker’s wardrobes. While it is nice to be able to just throw on an outfit and come into work, sometimes I’m jealous of a more corporate environment and their fancy pants outfits.

  47. Fun as always! Thanks for making my Friday bright :-) Of course the dog is close to my heart… And I think my little poodle (13 lbs) and huge mastiff (130 lbs) will enjoy that too.

  48. I’VE BEEN FREAKING OUT OVER THE DOMINO NEWS EVER SINCE I HEARD THE RUMOR — I will be buying a backup and a backup to my backup!

  49. Love the photo of the dog! I’ll be working this weekend, at Marimekko. It’s a lovely shop with lots of colorful and creative fabrics – it’s always inspiring to be there. I recently visited the Marimekko shop on 5th Avenue in NY, it was beautiful! I really enjoy your blog. Have a fun weekend! :-)

  50. That dog is adorable…have a wonderful week! A romantic dinner sounds lovely.

  51. YOU have a greattttt weekend Jo! (:
