After a long day, people often give massage to their partners, but massages can actually make you feel stressed. Tension builds up around our spines, so if you’re stressed, you don’t want to focus on that area, she explained. If you had a rough day, a massage is one of the worst things you can do! You want to focus on areas far from the spine, like hands and feet.
So, what’s the #1 way to chill someone out? “Tummy rubs!” she said, explaining that tummy rubs move stress away from the spine and make you feel super relaxed. Fascinating, right? Who would have thought? And so easy… Maybe a little post-dinner treat for Valentine’s Day:)
