1. Beautiful ring.

  2. First-time poster, and another long time reader! I’m a single 27 year old jumpstarting my career as a lawyer in DC. I’m single, and waiting for my Mr. Darcy to show up :)

Thank you for your other post on “Do you worry you won’t find your soulmate”… It made me smile and excited for the day that he’ll come.

  4. The aesthetic designs and quality of the Gold Necklace make a great impact on the fashion quotient of the wearer. They make great gift options too, thanks to their affordability and variety of choices. It gives the designers to cater to the ever-changing scene of the fashion world. It offers small-scale business opportunities to entrepreneurs, with many platforms to showcase their skills.

  6. Of course, the easiest thing to do if you are about to buy engagement rings is to visit a local jeweler and get something that is available. However, this is not usually the best thing to do because the local jewelers are not usually the places where you can get the best deal possible. Sure, it can sometimes happen if you are lucky, but bear in mind that this is extremely rare. Again, if money is no object, you have nothing to worry about, but in case money is a big deal, then you should definitely explore some other options as well.

  8. Best gift for your future bride is a Solitaire Diamond Engagement Ring, as these Engagement Rings are considered as the most beautiful stylish setting. It is the one and only moment of your life and off course everyone wants to enjoy those beautiful moments with most beautiful gifts and rings.

  9. Women wear jewellery to enhance the physical  appearance, the right pair of earrings can  complement an outfit to make the wearer feel more  attractive and self confident. Some people like to wear precious or semiprecious gems because they believe that they can restore their mental, physical or spiritual wellbeing by balancing internal energies.

  10. This engagement rings is so pretty and elegant. Diamond engagement rings are the best wat to propose

  11. C’est Magnifique! Ooh la la, that’s such a lovely ring. The uneven surface of the jewel creates an enticing texture that’s nearly hypnotic. It’s a beautiful work of art, no doubt!

  12. I have to tell you that in my mid-fifties I never thought it would happen to me, but here I am, blissfully in love. I was alone for over 20 years, and statistically speaking this shouldn’t have happened. I never brought a man home while my daughter was growing up – her father died when she was 10, and I just couldn’t. Now, she is grown, and walked me up the aisle last year, on this very day. You become cynical as you grow older, and when I met my husband I kept waiting for the “other shoe to drop,” as they say. It never did. He never says disparaging things about women, he loves people, he adores me and never stops telling me why. He moved me from the USA to his home town of Durham, England, and life has been one adventure after another, ever since. I am in heaven, and thank you for asking. He’ll be home at noon time to start our anniversary celebration, but, as usual, he won’t tell me where we’re going.
    With you all in love,
    Mary Nezzo
PS Women do love sparkly things, and that ring is sparlking at me.

  13. This is the most beautiful engagement ring i ever saw. It’s perfect!

  14. Anna says...

Forgot to mention I’m French and my loved one found his treasure in an obscure little shop in Britanny near the sea :)
Funny thing is, he always jokes he can’t marry me because I won’t wear any other ring!
I’m curious to know if yours is also from the same era!

I just chanced on that picture and what a surprise! My fiancé gave me the EXACT same ring at our 1st christmas together. I have always loved “aigue-marines” and things that have a story to tell. When he saw that 1920s ring in an antique shop, he knew he would win points :) I havn’t taken it off in the last 5 years. Enjoy yours.

  16. Married for 8 months + 1 week.

(Your ring is gorgeous. It is vastly different from mine and I love that: somehow these wonderful men manage to capture pieces of our personalities in the rings they choose)

  17. Mallory says...

I am a crazy cat lady in training.

totally a small boat for us divorced folks over here! glad to come across a group of such happily marrieds.

married too young for too long. took a timeout from boys which, of course, led to finding a pretty exciting boy. we’ve been together for over three years, living together for one. despite previous experience, not jaded about the institution, just don’t feel the necessity of it… [ducks head]

  36. Bridget Rossi says...

This engagement ring is really awesome! I hope, if my boyfriend will propose a wedding, he will give a diamond ring. Usually, you can buy affordable and beautiful wedding rings in some jewelry stores in Indianapolis. My brother bought his wedding rings to a trusted jewelry store Indianapolis-based.

  60. GRATEFULLY NEW TO YOUR BLOG JO. i hope you realize how much you INSPIRE & your work can cultivate another’s creativy seeds. i married my loml (loveofmylife) aug 2010. i picked up this dreamboat at a bar in ’04. only to proceed was a few drunken rendezvous. 7 years later he found me on myspace. buds for a year via cyberspace. it took 1 visit to Boston in the Fall, leaves changing & weeping willows on a walk in the Boston Public Gardens, and we knew this was it. he packed his Boston bags, drove cross country Cali bound (with his MOM! gotta love mamas boys lol), and proposed 6 months later. we had a 1920’s style Boston Wedding 5 months ago and we just bought our 1st home together in Long Beach, CA and running a family vintage business via etsy. Its a dream jo… LITTLE BROWN & WHITE BABIES NEXT :)

enjoy our 4 minute 1920’s wedding style film! yes im biased, but its pretty damn good lol.

He’s still my all-time favorite person, my feels-like-home person, my safe place, my partner in goofy made-up songs (which we mostly sing about and to the cat) – and I can’t sleep at night if we’re not curled up together.

  76. Engaged and so happy! :)

  77. “technically engaged.” haha. i have been with my boyfriend for quite some time. we say technically engaged because we live together, and if he had money for a ring, he’d propose, and if he proposed I would say yes.

  78. Recently married this past October to my beau of 6 years :)

  79. Dating seriously, and so happy… unfortunately, currently living 3000 miles from the mister (counting down the days until I get to go home to him!)

  80. Happily married for eight years! It just seems to get better the longer we’re together (I sincerely mean it). Beautiful ring, very swoon-worthy. I’m new to your blog and I love it. I live in a small, rural town in Texas so your perspective and blog is so fun, fresh and different than anything I’m around daily. So glad I became a follower!

  81. In a relationship for 3.5 years. Can’t wait to get engaged to him. He says he’s going to propose with a ring pop. Haha, considering the sweet tooth I have, I wouldn’t mind that one bit. =]
