Just the thought of elbow patches bring back the somewhat musty, mothbally scent of my grandfather. I love elbow patches as much as I love grandpa glasses, plaids, Filson anything and fedoras, so glad they have all come around again.

My husband’s been begging me to put elbow patches on his sweaters for the longest time… perhaps I will this winter! Hehe :)

I sewed elbow patches on a bunch of my husbands sweaters recently. He’s got pointy elbows! But since he’s a professor, I think they look extra great.
