Nursery Inspiration

Anton’s nursery in our new apartment is pretty small, but we want it to feel cozy and warm for him. We’re slowly but surely putting it together. I spotted the photos above on Domaine Home—aren’t they lovely? I’m planning to use them as inspiration. Here are a few pieces that might look sweet together…
Above: Glider, storage bin, elephant hamper, wooden mobile, watercolor quilt, mid-century dresser, white crib, floor lamp, gold animal prints.

I’m excited to finally share photos of our Brooklyn apartment in a few weeks!

P.S. A teeny San Francisco apartment, and where to find affordable art.

  2. I am in LOVE with the Miffy lamp.
Miffy is very popular here, in the Netherlands.
I think you would love it too. Just Google
    ‘Miffy lamp’ .
    Happy decorating !!! XO

  3. LOVE this inspiration! Gorgeous! One of my favorite things to do in my spare time is dream about my future baby’s future nursery :) I’m bookmarking this right now!

  4. I saw this room in Pinterest land recently and love it too! I don’t think you can go wrong with simple modern pieces mixed with the classics and a beautiful rug! We just added a few animal art prints by artist Heather Lancaster to our line that would work SO beautifully in a space like this!

  5. I love that carpet in the inspiration photo! Any idea where it is from?

  6. I love the fabric prints on the crib and the rug! They are so warm and inviting. The elephant hamper is pretty sweet too.

  7. Those are nursery inspiration photos too! I have been on the hunt for a rug like it for MONTHS! Already got the Dwell Studio crib : )

  8. This is really adorable but it seems like every nursery has a baby animal print these days…like it’s required for a hip nursery!

  9. I received the Watercolor Quilt as a gift (it’s my favorite part of my little girls room), and have been a big fan of Hopewell Workshop since I first discovered them… just last week, though, they announced they’ll be closing their workshop doors. I’d highly recommend picking up one of their beautiful quilts before it’s too late!

  10. I love those animal prints! There really is an art to creating the perfect space, isn’t there? :)

  11. The elephant hamper is so cute. And that dresser. Of course it is West Elm. I lover there stuff.

  12. megan, i LOVE her site! she does such amazing round-ups.

  13. i LOVE that rug.

  14. That carpet in the nursery is too loud. Love everything else!
